Makespace
MakeSpace is a storage service that operates in the US and Canada. They use technology to help customers declutter their lives by picking up, storing, and delivering belongings on demand. This eliminates the need for a storage facility. In 2018, we partnered with MakeSpace to design, produce, and supply a series of products that streamline this process.
Challenge
Makespace required a method for customers to pre-pack items for storage before "Space Makers" collected them. Their current approach involved shipping empty plastic storage bins, which was costly and resulted in inventory losses.
Solution
Streamline customer onboarding by designing a cost-efficient kit that could include: 5 - 50 flat-packed storage bags, stickers to label the bags, and a branded Sharpie, all of which could be shipped in a color-coded, branded poly mailer.
